PRATTVILLE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY MEDIA CENTER
The mission of the Prattville Christian Academy Library is: to develop lifelong learners in a quest for knowledge; to enable students to independently access, evaluate, and use information efficiently and effectively; to foster a love of reading; and to encourage our students to live the school's mission statement.
The PCA Library responds to the needs of users by providing students these opportunities and more:
ü Books for Breakfast- a book club for 2nd - 6th grades which meets once a month and discusses a variety of books over a light breakfast
ü Accelerated Reading testing
ü To develop Geography Bee study skills
ü Small and large group instruction
ü Periodic book fairs to raise money to increase and update the library collection
ü Recommendations on new fiction and non-fiction books that may be of interest
