DISTRICT SPELLING BEE RESULTS

In our latest academic contest of the year, PCA was well represented in the AISA District Spelling Bee, held this week.

Kayley Webster, Lindsey Huffman, Patrick Sumrell, Al Battle and Kara Lehenbauer all did a great job and PCA thanks them for their hard work.

We had 3 students who placed in the top 4.  Patrick Sumrell placed 4th in 6th grade, Lindsey Huffman placed 2ned in 5th grade, and Kara Lehenbauer placed 2nd in 8th grade.

Congratulations to our participating students and thanks to Mrs. Tarpley, sponsor, and all the teachers that helped prepare students for this competition.

PCA will compete in the District Math competition on February 13, 2006.

State Certified Teachers
Caring, State-Certified Teachers are foremost among the many benefits that a PCA education can provide. PCA has been blessed to attract the interest of some of the most talented and devoted Christian teachers in this area. page

Course of Study
ThThe PCA course of study uses various curriculums including traditional classes in math, language arts, social studies, and science.  We utilize recognized curriculum taught with a Christian perspective, which demonstrates quality and structural flexibility.  In addition to core academics, PCA offers instruction in physical education and the liberal arts, such as music, art, drama, and foreign language.  Bible class, as well as chapel, is part of each student’s day.  Prattville Christian Academy does not offer a special education program.
