PCA Students Win State and District Science Fair Honors
After a
very successful Prattville Christian Academy (PCA) science
fair where over 100 projects were judged, students competed
in the Alabama Independent School Association (AISA)
District V competition, February 2007, and in the AISA State
competition March 2007. In both the district and state
competitions, PCA students won honors and did exceptionally
well against other AISA schools.
Mrs. Val
Brown, Mrs. Leslie Carter and Ms. Jan Ellis, science
teachers at PCA, did a great job preparing students for the
competition and managing the judging of the contests.
Mr.
Mitchell, PCA President, said “this clearly shows PCA’s
commitment to a strong academic program. Our science
program is top-notch and will continue to grow as we add new
facilities. With a nationwide shortage of science teachers,
we are very blessed to have three of the very best teachers
at PCA.”
